Year 3 Teacher - Lambeth
A vibrant primary school in Lambeth is seeking a confident and imaginative Year 3 Teacher to join a supportive KS2 team from January 2026. The Year 3 Teacher will be responsible for delivering a creative curriculum that secures strong progress, embeds vocabulary-rich teaching and develops pupil independence. The successful Year 3 Teacher will play a key role in phase planning, assessment cycles and parental engagement. Induction and planning sessions will take place prior to January 2026 so the Year 3 Teacher can begin term-ready.
Working in Lambeth, the Year 3 Teacher will access high-quality CPD, collaborative moderation and a staff culture that values reflective practice. The Year 3 Teacher will regularly review pupil outcomes, target interventions where needed and contribute to the school’s approach to wellbeing and behaviour.
Responsibilities
- Plan coherent Year 3 curriculum sequences that combine knowledge-building and application.
- Analyse assessment information to target support and monitor impact on pupil outcomes.
- Lead focused intervention groups and support colleagues to deliver adaptive teaching strategies.
- Maintain strong home–school communication to engage families in learning.
- Contribute to whole-school improvement and community events in Lambeth.
Person specification
- QTS with a track record of strong classroom practice in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3.
- Effective planning, assessment and behaviour-management skills.
- A collaborative, reflective teacher keen to work within the Lambeth setting.
- Able to start January 2026 and to work in Lambeth.
