Nanny-Housekeeper
A fantastic opportunity to be part of a fabulously, fun family and household
who would value you! Two lovely children aged 9 and 12 years-old.
Mum will be working shift work, and is looking for a wonderfully, helpful
person with great initiative for running a house, who is caring and
motivated to also care for the children before and after school. A confident driver is definitely needed, with their own car, for the school
runs. Hours needed: early shift 7am – 12 midday; late shift is 3.30pm -10.30pm –
these shifts would be alternate days and the shift pattern would be known
the week before (possibly a school term ahead). A wonderful person who
does not mind the flexibility of these hours, would be so welcomed and
helpful! This role would be for term-time only (private school terms) with
housekeeping hours in the school holidays when the family usually travel.
This can all be discussed with the right candidate. EARLY SHIFT – start at 7am to finish getting the children ready and take
them to school – a 10 min drive approx. Mum will leave at 7.10am. The
children like to get to school between 7.30-7.45am. Then housekeeping
duties: children’s washing, making beds, general tidy up after morning,
cleaning kitchen, wiping down bathrooms, hoovering/mopping etc;
children’s washing only expected but all bedding (including master bed)
changed once a week. A clean/tidy person would be much appreciated.
Finish at 12 midday. LATE SHIFT – start at 3.30pm with an hour-ish to make sure all is set for the
children getting home with meal prep for their tea (the eldest is a
vegetarian). Pick children up at 4.45pm (unless they have a club and then
it would be 5.45pm), bring them home, give them their dinner, homework
supervision, play, bath and bedtime routine. Mum would be home for
10.20/30pm. The family would love someone who can motivate themselves as they will
be alone a lot of the time, and have sole charge of the children. No ironing needed and no cooking for the adults needed, only for the
children. No washing for adults needed. The family are laid back and fun, so they are definitely looking for someone
to match this and would want to have someone that feels like part of the
family not just an employee. They very much look forward to meeting you! Location of the job: Rudgwick (near Cranleigh), Surrey – good sized 4
bedroom house, big open plan kitchen area, playroom with large garden
next to cow fields!
Minimum experience Level for this job: Nanny for school-aged children and
Housekeeping experience.
Days and Hours of work: Monday to Friday; term-time – early shift 7am to
12 midday; late shift 3.30pm to 10.30pm; school holidays – housekeeping
hours if wanted.
Job Start Date: ASAP (by March/April’26)
Job End Date: Permanent position.
Pay: £18-20 gross p/h (open to discuss for the right person) This is a permanent, daily, sole-charge position.
It would be wonderful if you lived locally to Rudgwick/Cranleigh. Full Name of Employment Agency: Harmony at Home Limited
