About the Role
As a Year 3 Teacher, you will play a key role in guiding pupils through the transition to Key Stage 2, helping them to build strong foundations for future learning. You will deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire curiosity and promote progress across all areas of the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative, challenging lessons in line with the Year 3 curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and supported.
- Use ongoing assessment to track pupil progress and inform future teaching.
- Encourage independence, critical thinking, and a growth mindset among pupils.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance curriculum delivery.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support each child’s learning journey.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3 or adjacent year groups.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment methods.
- Excellent classroom management and a nurturing approach to learning.
- A reflective and enthusiastic practitioner who embraces teamwork and professional growth.
