About the History Department
The History Department is well-established and collaborative, delivering a rigorous and engaging curriculum across KS3–KS5. The team places a strong emphasis on debate, critical thinking, and historical enquiry, with regular enrichment opportunities including trips and guest lectures.
The Role
• Teach History across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities for experienced staff.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote analytical and evaluative skills.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement.
• Support extracurricular and enrichment activities.
Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Strong subject knowledge and proven classroom practice.
• Commitment to high standards and student achievement.
