We pride ourselves in setting the standard for industry best practices, with our unparalleled dedication to impactful and innovative communication. Our continued authenticity, credibility, and reliability have cemented our reputation as true partners to our clients.
We form part of the iNIZIO Medical group. Our unique position as part of this international network, which includes three of the world's top medical communications companies, gives us an important advantage over commercial competitors.
About the role
We are looking for a talented Account Manager to join our global and dynamic Publications and Medical Affairs team, focusing on oncology, primarily within breast cancer. You will partner with global pharmaceutical clients to deliver high-impact publications and medical affairs initiatives that help advance scientific communication and ultimately improve patient outcomes.
Working closely with senior client services colleagues while supporting and developing more junior team members, you will play an important role in both account delivery and team success. We are passionate about developing our people and are looking for someone who shares this commitment.
While oncology experience would be advantageous, we place greater value on strong publications and/or medical affairs experience, a collaborative mindset, and a desire to continue developing within a high-performing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of key workstreams within a large global account, build meaningful client relationships, and become part of an international, supportive, and highly collaborative team.
Here is what you will do
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and successful delivery of publications and medical affairs projects, ensuring client expectations are consistently met or exceeded with respect to quality, timelines, and budget.
You will partner closely with senior client services colleagues (SAM, AD, aCSD and CSD), editorial teams, and subject matter experts to deliver complex projects and identify opportunities for account growth. You will also collaborate with Finance on forecasting and invoicing activities, and with cross-functional teams including Studio and Digital to ensure seamless project delivery.
You will lead and co-lead client, author, and faculty interactions, building trusted relationships through proactive communication, strategic thinking, and excellent project management. Over time, you will become a valued advisor to your clients, identifying solutions, navigate challenges, and support the successful execution of their publication and medical affairs objectives.
Reporting to a Client Services Director, you will receive ongoing support from a team of experienced client services leaders while also contributing to the growth and development of more junior colleagues.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Experience working in a client services role within a medical communications agency environment.
- Experience managing publications and/or medical affairs programmes and deliverables across a variety of formats and therapeutic areas.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Client relationship management skills and confidence working with clients and external experts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound financial management skills, including budget tracking and forecasting.
In addition to a great compensation package, we are happy to talk dynamic working. This role can be done in one of our busy offices, on a hybrid basis or remotely with occasional office attendance. We are known for our friendly and informal working environment and offer excellent opportunities for career and personal development. At Inizio Medical, we are committed to driving a culture of diversity, inclusion and belonging. We believe that strength in diversity and inclusivity is a driver of our success.
Don't meet every job requirement? That's okay! Our company is dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace. If you're excited about this role, but your experience doesn't perfectly fit every qualification, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right person for this role or others.
