Electrician (Hiring Immediately)

About the role Chelsea Bridge Wharf is looking for a skilled and qualified Electrician to join our maintenance team. This role is key to keeping the building safe, compliant, and fully operational, delivering high-quality electrical maintenance, testing, and installations across the site. You’ll work closely with other trades and the Estate Management team, ensuring all electrical work is carried out to the highest standard, in line with current regulations, and with minimal disruption to residents. What You’ll Do Carry out scheduled and reactive electrical maintenance across the buildings and facilities Install, maintain, and repair wiring, lighting systems, sockets, switches, and distribution boards Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently and safely Conduct electrical testing and inspections (e.g., EICRs) in line with statutory regulations Ensure compliance with IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) Maintain accurate records of completed work, inspections, and certificates Assist with project-based installations and refurbishments as required Work safely with tools, equipment, and PPE at all times Identify and report potential hazards or electrical risks immediately Deal with intercoms and AOVs, fire alarm (FA) and EL testing, and development/redesign of FA and EL systems Produce accurate job reports and communicate updates via the company’s reporting system Support the development of the existing electrical team What We’re Looking For Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395) 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) qualification – essential Proven experience in electrical maintenance and installation Strong fault-finding, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of materials, techniques, and tools used in electrical work Full UK clean driving licence Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build strong working relationships and work effectively in a team High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Understanding of health and safety regulations and safe working practices Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics Ability to work independently while keeping the team informed Salary & Benefits Competitive Salary Full-time, permanent role Based at Chelsea Bridge Wharf, London Why Join Us This is an opportunity to work in a prestigious residential development, delivering high-quality electrical services and contributing to a professional, collaborative maintenance team.
