Year 4 Teacher - Outstanding School - Battersea - January...
We are delighted to represent an Outstanding primary in Battersea seeking a Year 4 Teacher to join the KS2 department. This is a Full-Time Year 4 Teacher vacancy with a January 2026start. The school places a strong emphasis on deep learning, reasoning and creative enquiry; the successful Year 4 Teacher will combine high expectations with imaginative pedagogy.

The school’s leadership sees the Year 4 Teacher as central to raising aspiration across KS2. From January 2026 , the Year 4 Teacher will teach a class of curious learners, modelling excellent classroom practice and contributing to whole-school curriculum development. The Year 4 Teacher will plan sequences that develop fluency, reasoning and problem solving, and will work with subject leads to ensure coherent progression across cohorts.
Key responsibilities for the Year 4 Teacher
• Plan and deliver a broad, balanced curriculum as a Year 4 Teacher , meeting varied needs.
• Use assessment effectively to support progress as a Year 4 Teacher .
• Lead targeted interventions and support pupil resilience as a Year 4 Teacher .
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in CPD as a Year 4 Teacher .
Candidate profile — the Year 4 Teacher we want
• QTS and relevant KS2 experience as a Year 4 Teacher .
• A reflective practitioner who places pupils at the centre of planning as a Year 4 Teacher .
• Strong subject knowledge and excellent behaviour management as a Year 4 Teacher .
The appointment is Full-Time and will start January 2026 . The school will provide comprehensive induction from January 2026 , ensuring the Year 4 Teacher is supported to have immediate impact. The Full-Time post is suited to teachers keen to grow professionally in an Outstanding setting.
