Cat Sitting needed near Streatham Wells SW16
We’re looking for a kind, reliable cat sitter to look after our cat Bernard while we’re away from 2nd–12th January. Bernard is a real character — charming, confident, and very much a front-of-house cat. One important thing to flag up front: Bernard only comes in and out via the front door, rather than using his cat flap at the back. His territory is at the front of the house, so we’re looking for someone happy to do two visits per day — one in the morning to let him out and feed him, and one later in the evening (around 9pm or after) to feed him and get him back in for the night. He doesn’t always come in instantly, so this does require a little patience — calling him and sometimes waiting a few minutes. To help with this, Bernard wears an AirTag / Tile, and he has a very familiar, small range just up the road (usually no more than a minute’s walk from the house). Dreamies treats are very effective encouragement. There’s no medication, and we’re not looking for house-sitting, just visits. We’d ask that evening visits involve making a proper effort to get him in rather than returning later, but we’re very happy to talk through how this usually works in practice.
