Social & Content Manager
Hello, let us introduce ourselves!
watchTowr is the Preemptive Exposure Management capability trusted by Fortune 500 companies and critical infrastructure providers.
By combining proactive threat intelligence, real attacker telemetry, and automated red teaming, watchTowr continuously identifies and validates real exposure - so security teams can outrun real-world threats.
When exploitation happens in hours, watchTowr delivers what no one else can: time to respond.
We are a global team of operators, researchers, and engineers who have spent years thinking like attackers - and we are now building the technology to stop them. Our work is recognised across the industry, with original vulnerability research from watchTowr Labs and innovations like Instinct and Attacker Eye shaping the future of cybersecurity.
Backed by $29M in funding, recognised by Gartner, and scaling fast across the globe, we are in a high-growth phase of our journey. We are a young, high-energy, and research-driven team, obsessed with building world-class technology - and we want exceptional people to join us.
But what’s the role?
We’re looking for a Social Media & Content Manager to own watchTowr’s external voice across social, thought leadership, and earned channels. This role turns complex security topics into clear, credible, and engaging content. This role is based in the UK or the US (East Coast).
Sounds great – what will I do?
In this role, you will:
Grow watchTowr’s social presence and share of voice:
Build and execute social strategy (organic and paid) across LinkedIn, Twitter (and others as relevant).
Translating attacker behaviour, labs and threat research, and PoVs into credible, social content that informs and challenges the market.
Participating meaningfully in industry conversations.
Connect social and media to demand and revenue:
Enable execs, sales, and technical leaders on social (profiles, posting, commenting, engagement).
Ghostwrite posts tied to launches, events, research, and competitive or reactive moments, balancing speed with accuracy and judgement.
Coordinate closely with PR partners and support press activity, commentary, embargoed stories, and reactive narratives.
Run the content engine:
Own end-to-end content planning, creation, approvals, and publishing, often with imperfect inputs and evolving priorities.
Repurpose Labs, Intel, and Product content into formats optimised for social, media, and executive channels.
Leverage freelancers and AI tools to scale output while maintaining watchTowr’s tone, credibility, and point of view.
Measure impact
Track ICP engagement, account-level interaction, and social-sourced conversations, focusing on quality of engagement over vanity metrics.
Partner with Demand and Marketing Ops to connect social activity to pipeline influence and deal progression where possible.
Leverage freelancers and AI tools to scale output.
Sounds perfect to me, what specifics are you looking for?
Ideally, you should have 5 or more years of experience, with:
Cybersecurity Content Experience: Experience creating content for cybersecurity audiences, with a strong grasp of how to translate threat intelligence, technical security concepts, industry challenges and alerts to enterprise audiences, responsibly.
B2B SaaS Startup or Scale-up Experience: Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments, building structure where little exists, and owning outcomes end to end.
B2B Enterprise Buyer Awareness: Understanding how, and where, CISOs, security leaders, and technical buyers consume content across long, multi-stakeholder B2B sales cycles.
Content Marketing : Ability to create and coordinate C-Suite level as well as technical content (e.g., white papers, case studies, blog posts) that resonates with watchTowr’s enterprise ICP and personas.
Strong Writing & Editorial Judgment: Excellent short and long-form writing skills - from social to technical articles - with the ability to make complex security topics clear, relevant, and human.
PR & Earned Media Collaboration: Experience working with PR agencies and internal stakeholders to support announcements, commentary, embargoed stories, and reactive moments.
Strategic and Hands-On Execution Mindset: Comfortable operating at both the strategic and execution layers, you’re able to define what “good” looks like for social and content, then personally ship posts, coordinate reviews, and keep momentum moving.
Data-Led Approach : Competency in social media insights, and other analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI.
Tooling Familiarity: Tell us about all the tools you use and why they matter! Hubspot, Webflow and your standard google suite and social tools are critical.
What’s in it for me?
Competitive compensation - we believe that hard work, skills and ambition should be fairly compensated.
Meaningful role in a company - You will be a key and early contributor to a fast-growing cybersecurity business that helps protect some of the world's largest enterprises.
The best tools and powerful kit - we enable you with the tools to effectively fulfil your role.
Endless opportunities – we are in a high-growth phase of our journey, and plan to promote from within as we scale.
Work with cyber security experts – we are solving cutting-edge industry-wide cyber security challenges with some of the world’s most advanced organisations.
watchTowr is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer
At watchTowr, we’re dedicated to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and diverse environment where every individual is recognised for their talent and potential. Our hiring decisions are guided by your capabilities, experience, and what you bring to the role - not by unrelated personal attributes.
