Teaching Assistant - Waltham Forest
We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and supportive Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Waltham Forest. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a positive impact on their learning and development.
The successful candidate will work alongside class teachers to support learning across the curriculum. You may provide general classroom support, work with small groups, or offer one-to-one assistance to pupils who need extra help to engage with learning. Supporting pupils with SEND, EAL, or additional learning needs will be an important part of the role.
You will help create a positive and engaging classroom environment, supporting behaviour management and encouraging pupils to develop confidence and independence. Assisting with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and resource management will also form part of your responsibilities.
Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, as you will work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents. The school values collaboration and offers opportunities for professional development and progression.
This role is well suited to individuals with previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, as well as those looking to begin a career in education.
