About the School
The school is a well-respected, community-focused primary that places inclusion, wellbeing, and early intervention at the centre of its practice. You will work with children in Nursery or Reception who require additional support to access learning and school routines. Pupils may have a range of needs, including autism spectrum condition (ASC), speech and language difficulties, global developmental delay, sensory needs, or social and emotional challenges.

Support access to the EYFS curriculum through structured play and adult-led activities
Promote communication, interaction, and social development
Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour

Work closely with teachers, the SENCo, and external professionals

Person Specification
The successful candidate will:
Have experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in EYFS
Be patient, empathetic, and nurturing
Have a good understanding of early childhood development
Be reliable, flexible, and proactive

A welcoming and inclusive working environment
Ongoing EYFS and SEN training
Supportive leadership and mentoring
Well-resourced Early Years provision
Opportunities for professional growth and progression
This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on children’s early educational experiences.
