We are working with a specialist SEND school in Croydon that is seeking a passionate and dedicated Class Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive environment, helping pupils with a range of special educational needs achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Role

As a Class Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
Create a safe, positive and nurturing learning environment.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists and other professionals.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches where required.
Develop strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
Support pupils with a range of SEND, including Autism, ADHD, communication difficulties and complex learning needs.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Has experience working with children with SEND, either in a special school or mainstream setting.
Is passionate about inclusive education and improving outcomes for vulnerable learners.
Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Is committed, resilient and eager to contribute to the wider school community.
