Live-in Carer - Nationwide UK
Brivon Care is growing our nationwide network of compassionate, reliable live-in carers for placements across the UK.
We offer long-term placements, regular rotations, respite cover and short-term opportunities, allowing carers to choose work that suits their availability, preferred rota and experience.
Why join Brivon Care?
• Competitive live-in care rates of approximately £800–£1,200 per week, depending on the placement and level of care required.
• Nationwide live-in care opportunities across the UK.
• Long-term, rotational, respite and short-term placements available.
• Opportunities for regular ongoing work with suitable clients.
• Non-exclusive self-employed arrangement — you are free to work with Brivon Care alongside other care platforms or agencies.
• Clear information about each placement before you decide whether it is right for you.
• Matching based on your skills, availability, preferences and preferred rota.
• Ongoing support from the Brivon Care Team before, during and after placements.
• Future placement opportunities when rotations or assignments finish.
• Support with understanding placement requirements, training and compliance needs where applicable.
• Carers are at the centre of what we do, and we believe good carers should be respected, supported and properly rewarded.
About the role
As a self-employed live-in carer, you will stay in the client’s home for an agreed placement or rotation and provide personalised day-to-day support.
Depending on the client’s individual needs, support may include:
• Personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting.
• Dementia and Alzheimer’s support.
• Medication prompting or support.
• Meal preparation and hydration support.
• Mobility and transfer support.
• Companionship and emotional reassurance.
• Light household tasks connected with the client’s wellbeing.
• Supporting daily routines, activities and appointments.
• Maintaining appropriate care notes where required.
Who we are looking for
We welcome applications from both experienced carers and suitable candidates who are newer to live-in care.
We are particularly looking for people who are:
• Honest, trustworthy and dependable.
• Kind, compassionate and genuinely caring.
• Professional and respectful.
• Reliable and committed to the people they support.
• Able to work independently in a client’s home.
• Comfortable providing personal care.
• Willing to travel for placements across the UK.
• Able to communicate clearly with clients, families and the Brivon Care Team.
• Male or female — both are welcome to apply, subject to individual client preferences.
Previous care experience, live-in care experience, dementia experience and relevant training are advantageous, but we are also happy to consider suitable candidates who demonstrate the right attitude, integrity and commitment to care.
Important – Right to Work and Sponsorship
Applicants must have the legal right to live and work in the UK.
Brivon Care does not currently offer visa sponsorship, so applicants must not require sponsorship from Brivon Care.
Self-employed opportunity
These are self-employed live-in care opportunities rather than PAYE employment. Placement lengths vary and may include long-term arrangements, regular rotations, respite cover and shorter assignments.
If you are looking for competitive weekly pay, nationwide opportunities, flexibility and a care organisation that genuinely values its carers, we would love to hear from you.
Apply today to join the Brivon Care network and be considered for current and upcoming live-in care placements across the UK
