Project Manager (Data Migration)
- Coordinate the capture of diverse data requirements across various Programme Teams
- Engage and involve key stakeholder groups
- Refine data migration project plans and breakdown into tasks
- Allocate tasks and track progress against the data migration plan, ensuring the project sticks to schedule while maintaining an appropriate scope of work
- Organise and chair meetings and workshops
- Develop a clear communication plan and corresponding materials
- Maintaining a query log and disseminate answers
- Identify, log and actively manage project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies (RAID), maintaining an up-to-date RAID log and escalating where appropriate
- Other project management support as required
Required Criteria:
- Proven experience managing complex, multifaceted projects, including end-to-end data migration initiatives
- Strong understanding of SQL principles and relational data structures
- Demonstrated ability to manage and influence diverse stakeholders at all organisational levels
- Clear evidence of advanced problem solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex project challenges and deliver practical, effective solutions
- Solid understanding of database design principles and the technical activities required to plan and execute data migrations
- Demonstrable hands on experience using Jira for project tracking and delivery management
- Experience working within both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies, including hybrid environments
- Strong understanding of grant management systems, including the processes and workflows involved in administering grants
- Experience or knowledge of systems used for the management of grants across the full grant lifecycle
- Demonstrated understanding of complex data migration projects, including data mapping, validation, and reconciliation activities
- Experience using data analysis and visualisation tools such as Tableau and Alteryx
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Effective at working with staff at all levels
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Well developed written and presentation skills
Salary: £40,300 to £42,600 (more for an exceptional candidate)
Location: Twickenham, London / Hybrid working model
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract 6 months
Working Hours: 37.5 hour per week
