Head of Client Accounting

Head of Client Accounting - Our Client, is a property management firm who has been established for over 25 years. Their portfolio includes both residential and commercial properties and due to a restructure and new business they are now looking for a Head of Client Accounting to join their team. The successful candidate will be at a Senior Client Accountant/ Account Manager level looking for their next step up.

THE ROLE REQUIREMENTS for the Head of Client Accounting will include:

Managing a team of 5 people.
Overseeing and managing the year-end service charge accounting process.
Preparing complex year-end service charge accounts.
Preparing quarterly and annual client reports.
Responsible for overseeing the Accounts receivable and Accounts Payable functions.
Preparing bank reconciliation.
Handling supplier queries.
Overseeing credit control and ensuring outstanding balances are closed.
Maintenance of the property management database and implementation of new AI processes/software.
Collating and running reports.

THE PERSON and SKILL REQUIREMENTS for the Head of Client Accounting:

MUST HAVE experience of working in a property finance team.
Experience of mentoring/managing staff.
Experience of preparing year-end service charge accounts and client reporting.
Familiar with Property Management System such as QUBE/TRAMPS/YARDI
Happy to work 4/5 days in the office to start with.
