SEO Specialist
Job Description
Are you passionate about search, content, and the evolving role of AI?We are looking for a skilled SEO & AI Search Specialist to shape and deliver our search strategy across both traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered platforms.
Hybrid working available. Working from home whilst meeting the team once a week at our offices located in Finsbury Square, London
In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of our organic search performance, enhancing the visibility of our brand and care homes at both national and local level. Working closely with the Head of Digital Marketing, digital agencies, and our wider marketing team, you will ensure our website, content, and location presence are fully optimised for search engines, answer engines, and large language models.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES:

Implement and develop our SEO strategy in conjunction with Head of Digital Marketing to improve our online visibility for our brand and care homes
\n You will lead the planning and execution of our SEO and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) strategy, ensuring our services are easy to find wherever people are searching for care and advice
\n Partner with search agencies and platforms to strengthen SEO and AEO performance and improve national and local rankings
\n Shape and deliver a content strategy across our Google Business Profiles in collaboration with our agencies and internal teams
\n Create and enhance location landing pages across our website to maximise local visibility
\n Expand our thought leadership content and further develop our Help & Advice resources
\n Manage relationships with SEO agencies and platforms to ensure maximum value and performance
\n Align SEO efforts with PPC activity to reduce wasted spend and drive efficient performance
\n You will play a key role in ensuring our website and digital content perform at the highest level.
\n Optimise website content across written, photographic, and video formats to increase visibility and conversions
\n Support the launch of new care homes online, ensuring they are discoverable across search engines and AI tools
\n

NEED TO HAVE:

Demonstrate a proven track record of successful experience in SEO while working on search campaigns
\n Multi-site SEO experience
\n Proven experience of working with SEO platforms such as Brightedge, SEMRush, Screaming Frog or similar tools
\n Have proven experience of managing corporate websites and other affiliate websites
\n Demonstrate proficiency in Drupal or similar website CMS

Possess excellent written communication skills, which can be evidenced
