SEN Teaching Assistant | Waltham Forest
An inclusive primary school in Waltham Forest is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from January 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils with additional needs within a structured, nurturing, and well-resourced school environment.
Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN
Assist teachers in adapting lessons and resources to meet individual needs
Encourage positive behaviour, social skills, and emotional regulation
Support pupils in accessing the curriculum effectively
Promote independence, confidence, and engagement
Assist with transitions, daily routines, and playtime supervision
