About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Year 6 Teacher , ideally with leadership experience. You will lead a year group , plan and deliver engaging lessons, and prepare pupils for the transition to secondary school .
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality lessons across the Year 6 curriculum
- Leading a year group, coordinating planning, assessment, and pastoral support
- Tracking pupil progress and reporting to parents and leadership
- Promoting high standards of behaviour, engagement, and learning
- Contributing to enrichment activities, school trips, and wider school life
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate is inspiring, organised, and confident , with experience in KS2 leadership and classroom management . You should be able to motivate pupils, support colleagues, and contribute to whole-school initiatives .
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Year 6
- Leadership experience desirable
- Legal right to work in the UK
