Are you a PRU Teacher available to start a new role immediately? Are you QTS or QTLS qualified with experience teaching in a Primary PRU or Alternative Provision? Are you a PRU Teacher confident managing challenging behaviour and supporting vulnerable learners? If you answered yes, then this is the PRU Teacher role for you! The Role – PRU Teacher Qualiteach are currently recruiting for a PRU Teacher to work within a Primary Pupil Referral Unit in the London Borough of Camden. As a PRU Teacher, you will be teaching small class sizes of primary-aged pupils who have been permanently or temporarily excluded from mainstream education. Many pupils present with SEMH, ADHD and challenging behaviour, therefore strong behaviour management and the ability to build positive relationships are essential. This role is for an experienced PRU Teacher with QTS or QTLS (non-negotiable) and is not suitable for ECTs. Previous experience within a PRU or alternative provision is essential. The School – PRU Teacher This Primary PRU is based in the London Borough of Camden and caters for pupils aged 5–11 who require specialist support outside of mainstream education. The PRU offers a structured and supportive environment with a strong pastoral focus and dedicated support staff. The school is easily accessible via public transport links.
