SEND Teaching Assistant - Stoke Newington - ASAP Start
An inclusive primary school in Stoke Newington, Hackney is looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join the dedicated and hardworking team of staff.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be:
- Delivering interventions to maximise learning potential, and planning further sessions based on progress
- Supporting the objectives in specific pupils’ EHCPs, SEND Support Plans and/or IEPs
- Working with students with SEND, through 1:1 sessions, small groups, and in-class support
- Supporting students with Speech and Language activities where necessary
- Working in a community which values respect
- Providing pupils with a range of learning strategies and ensuring every child can access the full curriculum
This SEND Teaching Assistant role is full time, to work Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:45pm, and long term to last until the end of the academic year in July.
