Veritas Education is currently seeking qualified and experienced Nursery Practitioners to join nurseries and primary schools across South London. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting children's early development, fostering a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment, and helping each child reach their full potential. Typical working hours are 8:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday (term-time only)

Key Responsibilities for Nursery Pracitioner:

• Support the learning, development, and well-being of young children through play-based and structured activities
• Help prepare and maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment
• Act as a key person for a group of children, building strong relationships with parents and carers
• Tailor learning and play activities to meet individual needs, including those with SEND
• Attend staff meetings, training, and CPD opportunities as required
• Carry out other reasonable duties to support the smooth running of the nursery or classroom

Requirements:

• A relevant childcare qualification (CACHE Level 2 or 3, or equivalent)
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Experience working in an early years or primary setting
• A friendly, proactive, and dedicated approach, with a genuine passion for working with children
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally
