Caretaker to support site maintenance, security and daily operational running
Our Client is seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join the premises team in a large secondary school in Romford. Duties include site security, minor repairs, grounds maintenance, room setups, unlocking/locking the school and ensuring safety around the premises.
School Information
This 11–16 school educates approximately 1,250 pupils and is known for its strong leadership, invested facilities and highly supportive operational teams. The premises department is well staffed, with clear procedures and a collaborative approach to maintaining the school environment.
The team describes the workplace as friendly, stable and organised, with ongoing training opportunities for caretaking staff—including health & safety, COSHH, safeguarding and compliance courses.
