Residential Conveyancer
Contract: Full time, permanent
Salary: Negotiable (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:30–17:30

About the Firm
Our client is a well-established and highly regarded law firm with offices across London. The practice benefits from a strong and loyal client base and provides specialist legal services to both private individuals and commercial clients.
The firm is now seeking a talented Residential Conveyancer to join its growing property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and client-focused individual who wishes to develop their career within a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion. You will be expected to work with a high degree of autonomy while delivering exceptional client service and contributing to the continued growth of the department.
Key Responsibilities
Managing sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties
Handling new build transactions, re-mortgages, and transfer of equity matters
Acting on registered and unregistered property transactions
Dealing with Help to Buy and shared ownership matters
Advising on lease extensions and related work
Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other professionals
Working closely with colleagues, including the Private Client team
Maintaining accurate file management and compliance procedures
The Candidate
You will be a confident Residential Conveyancer with:
1–3+ years PQE in residential conveyancing
Strong knowledge across the full range of conveyancing transactions
Proven ability to manage a caseload independently
Excellent client care and communication skills
A proactive approach to networking and business development
Strong organisational and administrative abilities
Professional, personable, and approachable manner
Ambition to progress within a growing firm
Key Skills & Competencies
Solid understanding of residential property law and practice
Experience managing multiple files with minimal supervision
Clear communication with clients, agents, and lenders
High attention to detail in drafting contracts and reports
Strong problem-solving skills for title and transaction issues
Effective time management and organisational skills
IT proficiency, including experience with LEAP or similar systems
