POSS Analyst - Master Data

The POSS Analyst is responsible for the creation and verification of quotes, statements of work, and proposals. They work closely with presales and architects to obtain bills of material and respond to prospective client queries. Within a defined area of expertise, the POSS Analyst - Cisco Operations tailors existing solutions and creates new solutions based upon the client’s technical requirements and requests, and estimates and quotes professional services from Insight’s inhouse technology services function and or third-party solution partners.
**This role a 12 month fixed term contract covering maternity.**
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish effective internal and external relationships with vendors and sales teammates.
- Acknowledge and process incoming enquiries from the sales and pre-sales teams through the ticketing system in a timely manner, and within specified service level agreements.
- Ensure all internal governance and processes are followed in the production of proposals and SOWs.
- Provide technical support to clients, including pre-sales analysis and recommendations in line with clients’ needs.
- Deliver and facilitate internal training and support service briefings as and when appropriate.
- Support the Sales team with three-way client and partner calls as and when required.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of company and team operating procedures, documentation, and marketing materials.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Experience required in a presales capacity with knowledge of support service quoting and commercial awareness
- High level of written and spoken English
- Experience of working within a high-performing team within a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Proficient in the use of relevant vendor support and quoting portals
- Ability to assume responsibility for assignments and to perform them with minimal supervision
