Learning and Engagement Advisor

As our Learning and Engagement Advisor, you will help shape, promote and deliver learning and engagement activity across our stores and offices. You will use our learning management system to make learning simple to find, easy to complete and meaningful for colleagues, while working closely with the Head of People and business stakeholders to bring initiatives to life in a well organised and consistent way.
Regular on-site presence is required in the London office to support workshops, engagement activity and events.
A peek into your daily adventures:
Lead the delivery of learning and development activity across the business including core skills, compliance and role-specific learning.
Review the current offer and make recommendations to improve and build a comprehensive learning suite fit for purpose.
Plan, coordinate and support the delivery of learning activity, including scheduling sessions, booking venues, preparing materials and supporting facilitators, stepping in to facilitate when required.
Administer and manage the learning management system (LMS), ensuring learning content is accurate, accessible, engaging and kept up to date.
Promote the learning offer across the business, helping colleagues understand what is available and encouraging strong engagement with learning opportunities.
Track attendance, completion and feedback for learning activity and maintain accurate learning records.
Support compliance and mandatory training activity, including monitoring completion and following up where required.
Induction & Onboarding Support
Own the delivery of the organisation’s induction programme working closely with the Recruitment Advisor and People Assistant to ensure a smooth handover from pre-start activity into induction.
Coordinate induction sessions and learning activity for new starters, including scheduling, materials and logistics.
Maintain induction and onboarding content within the LMS, ensuring materials are accurate and up to date.
Track completion and feedback, escalating issues or insights where appropriate.
Engagement
Coordinate the delivery of employee engagement activity, working to agreed plans and priorities and helping to create moments that connect colleagues with JoJo’s culture, values and learning offer.
Assist with the coordination of engagement campaigns, inclusion activity and awareness initiatives.
Support the implementation of engagement surveys and feedback activity, including administration, coordination and collation of results where required.
Skills that make you shine:
Experience developing, delivering and promoting learning and engagement activity in a retail environment.
Experience designing and delivering practical, engaging learning solutions for a range of audiences.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Confident communicator with good attention to detail.
Comfortable coordinating logistics, scheduling and administration.
Experience using and administering learning management systems (LMS) or similar digital learning platforms.
Confident using digital tools (e.g. Canva, Articulate Rise, LMS platforms)
Experience supporting engagement or inclusion initiatives including engagement surveys.
Additional Requirements
Ability to work regularly from the London office to provide visible, on-site People support.
Willingness to travel occasionally to stores or other locations as required.
