IT Technician – Innovative Secondary School – Southwark (South London)

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Technician to join an innovative secondary school in Southwark. This is a key role supporting the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning through effective use of technology.
The successful candidate will provide technical support, maintain IT systems and ensure that all digital infrastructure runs smoothly. You will work closely with staff and students to resolve technical issues and contribute to ongoing IT improvements.
This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support across the school
• Maintain hardware, software and networks
• Support classroom technology
• Manage user accounts and systems
• Assist with IT projects and upgrades
• Ensure data security and compliance
Requirements:
• IT qualification or relevant experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Good organisational skills
• School experience (desirable)
