The Role

As the Head of Legal, you’ll be creating a world class legal function from the ground up. You’ll thrive under pressure, think pragmatically, and bring a relentless focus to driving value whilst protecting the business and our customers.

Where You’ll Make Impact

• Establishing a modern foundation for the legal function - including the design and roll out of key legal ops processes using AI, legal ops & automation tools.
• Drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial and partnership agreements.
• Build scalable compliance processes - encompassing the ownership of our data privacy compliance programme.
• Partner with the founders and incoming CFO on corporate fundraising, EMI & share scheme, and other corporate initiatives.
• Partner with the HR function on various employment law related matters.
• Monitor for laws impacting Healf and rollout compliance and mitigation strategies as we scale into new countries.Manage our external counsel relationships.

What You’ll Bring

• This role requires a highly organised, results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
• Proven experience in an in-house role (c. 5 PQE) within a smaller legal function. Experience in the health technology sector is desirable.
• Background in corporate/commercial. Generalist experience is desirable.
• Experience utilising and/or rolling out legal ops processes and tools.
• Commercial & practical in character but with an aptitude to take a more considered approach where required.
• Proven experience operating with minimal supervision.
• Passionate about health and wellbeing, with an energetic, “can-do” attitude.
