This is an engineer role within Corporate Bank Technology team in the Client Servicing Squad. We are responsible for a Client Facing Portal for case management (DSM SRO) with React UI and an internal case management system hosted on Salesforce (DSM CSS).
As part of the wider Client Centricity Programme DSM CSS will look to move to strategic case management tools with React UI, Java microservices and Oracle Database. This may also be hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in the future.

Your key responsibilities
- Participating in the end-to-end product life cycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and implementation
- Designing and developing solutions (configuration and development) in accordance with requirements and feature definitions
- Development of source code in line with detailed requirements
- Verifying the developed source code via reviews and partnering
- Analyzing level of conformance of solutions to defined solution architecture and Enterprise Architecture principles, blueprints, standards and patterns
- Writing and maintaining release and deployment instructions, technical change management and fix defect/ bugs & L3 support
Your skills and experience
- Engineer capable of designing, developing, and implementing a wide array of products & solutions: React/Java/Oracle is the key skillset
- Experience of Design/Develop self-contained RESTful Microservices, Springboot, Java programming and Java-based web application development. MS/APIs - Knowledge of APIGee, Kakfa, Java, Aurora, Cassandra, Springboot, swagger, microservices, Sleuth, log4J
- Hands-on experience in developing User Interfaces with modern frameworks and tooling with a focus on Typescript/React (with React hooks) and tooling including HTML/CSS/JS/ /NodeJS/state management/web security & performance.UI development expertise, NPM, ReactJs, Redux, Jest, AngularJS, HTML5, Javascript, JQuery and CSS. Knowledge of web containers, like Apache, and J2EE servers: JBoss, Oracle Weblogic, IBM Websphere
- Knowledge of standard/relational databases like Oracle, MS-SQL and appreciation of Big Data/ NO SQL approaches. Experience in Salesforce & Google Cloud Platform is beneficial
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies with experience of ticketing tool (Jira), Version control system like Bitbucket or GitHub
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and create a positive working atmosphere
