Site Manager - Inclusive Primary School in Tooting - ASAP...
An inclusive and community-focused primary school in Tooting is seeking a reliable and proactive Site Manager to join the school as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to take responsibility for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming learning environment within a supportive school setting.
The school prides itself on its inclusive ethos, positive relationships, and well-maintained facilities. The Site Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the premises.
Key Responsibilities
Overseeing the day-to-day maintenance and security of the school site
Carrying out regular health & safety checks, including fire alarms and emergency lighting
Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and maintaining accurate records
Coordinating contractors and supervising site-related works
Managing general repairs, maintenance tasks, and minor improvement projects
Supporting school events and occasional out-of-hours requirements
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous experience as a Site Manager, Premises Manager, or Caretaker
Strong knowledge of health & safety and site compliance
Practical maintenance and DIY skills
The ability to prioritise workload and respond promptly to issues
A proactive, organised, and dependable approach
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff
