About the History Department
The History Department is dynamic, forward-thinking, and well-resourced. Teachers work closely together to plan engaging schemes of work that bring topics to life—from medieval Europe to modern political change. The department regularly runs trips, enrichment programmes, and develops innovative lessons to promote a deeper understanding of global history.
The Role
• Teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable).
• Contribute to curriculum development and whole-school initiatives.
• Engage and inspire students of all abilities.
• Take part in extracurricular activities, such as clubs or trips.
Requirements
• QTS and experience teaching History in UK schools.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for historical learning.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
