SEMH Learning Mentor
Looking for a role where you can genuinely make a difference? We’re working with schools in Wimbledon who are looking for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils who sometimes struggle with their emotions, behaviour, or confidence in the classroom. These are great young people who need direction, encouragement, and a positive influence to help them stay focused and succeed at school. The role You’ll support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them stay engaged with learning and build confidence. This may include: Working 1:1 or with small groups Helping pupils manage emotions and behaviour Acting as a positive role model Supporting teachers in the classroom What we’re looking for Someone who is: Calm, patient, and resilient Confident working with challenging behaviour A positive influence for young people Experience in schools, youth work, coaching, care work, or SEND support is a big plus. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
