Public Health Principal - Local Authority

My Local Authority client in Greater London is looking to appoint a talented Public Health Principal on a Contract basis.

This is a strategic leadership role across the council and with a wide range of partners locally and regionally.

About the role:

Based in Greater London (Remote):

• The requirement is for a generalist Public Health Principal but must have experience of strategic leadership of drug and alcohol and sexual health services.
• Experience of commissioning 0-19 child public health services will be an advantage.
• Develop a clear vision and strategy for cross-cutting programmes of work with a focus on health improvement, health protection and healthcare public health

About you:
You will have the following experiences:

• A Master's in Public Health
• Minimum 5 years working in a strategic Public Health leadership role in a Local Authority
• Membership of the Faculty of Public Health

What's on offer:

• Salary: £600 per day, inside IR35

*negotiable based on experience
