£25,000k– £28,000k per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate educator who can inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of history across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a strong focus on preparing students for GCSE success.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and rigorous lessons across a range of historical modules leading up to GCSE, including:

  • Early Modern Britain (e.g., Tudor and Stuart Britain)
  • The Industrial Revolution and the development of modern Britain
  • The First World War and the Second World War
  • Germany and 20th Century
  • The Cold War and international relations
  • Medicine Through Time
  • Conflict and tension in the modern world

You will play a key role in curriculum planning, assessment preparation, and ensuring students are equipped with the analytical, evaluative, and exam skills required to excel at GCSE .

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 History
  • A proven track record (or clear potential) of raising attainment
  • Commitment to high standards and inclusive practice
  • A collaborative and reflective approach to teaching
