Senior Legal Counsel (Product)
- Provide legal support on highly technical requests on AI, GPAI or LLM training. Work closely with product development teams
- Work closely together with Lead and Senior Legal counsel and coordinate legal work of complex, cross-functional tech and product related projects with internal and external stakeholders (i.e. product development, research, GtM)
- Manage and own ongoing development and refinement of risk frameworks, processes, and policies to ensure compliance throughout our product lifecycle.
- Support in protecting the company's intellectual property rights relating to its AI technology, including model and product assessments, review of license terms, and license management.
- Support information initiatives for customers and educate employees on AI related matters.
- You are a fully qualified lawyer within your jurisdiction (i.e. First and Second German State Exam or comparable qualification) or comparable qualification such as an LL.M. in the relevant field. You bring inhouse experience - ideally in a scaleup & tech environment.
- You have worked with product and tech teams on developing and shipping AI Systems, i.e. AI or GPAI. Ideally you have experience in managing and leading on product lifecycle management.
- You have a proven record of working in AI technology, particularly language-based solutions and you have in-depth knowledge of applicable AI regulations and guidelines in the EU and how they translate into product requirements.
