Geography Teacher – Lead Key Stage 3 Urban Regeneration Studies and Drive Fieldwork in the Local Community – Barking & Dagenham
A progressive and community-focused secondary school in Barking & Dagenham is seeking an experienced and dynamic Geography Teacher with expertise in urban geography from January 2026.
- Geography Teacher required from January 2026

- Ideal for a teacher passionate about Urban Regeneration and utilizing the local environment for fieldwork.
You will teach Geography across KS3-KS5. The role includes planning fieldwork-intensive lessons that develop mapping and data collection skills, with a focus on narrowing the attainment gap through practical, relevant curriculum content.
Experience and Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) and a relevant degree in Geography.
- Experience in planning and leading successful GCSE fieldwork in human and physical contexts.
- Strong ability to teach both Physical and Human Geography at A-Level.
- Commitment to contributing to the school's environmental awareness programme.
