Your responsibilities as the Head of Indirect Tax
As the Head of Indirect Tax, you will define and deliver the global indirect tax technology strategy, driving alignment with the company’s wider digital finance transformation agenda. You will set the roadmap for automation, analytics, and digital reporting across all regions, working closely with the CFO, CIO, and global tax leadership to ensure technology enables regulatory readiness, operational excellence, and sustainable growth. You will oversee the implementation of advanced platforms, while also driving adoption of emerging technologies including AI, machine learning, and blockchain to enhance compliance, risk management, and forecasting.
As a leader, you will build and inspire a cross-functional team of tax technologists, data analysts, and indirect tax specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and digital-first thinking.
Requirements
We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified tax professional (CTA, CPA, or equivalent) with extensive expertise in indirect tax and tax technology. With at least 12 years of leadership experience gained in multinational organisations or Big Four advisory firms, you will bring a proven track record in driving technology-led tax transformation. You’ll have deep knowledge of global indirect tax compliance and reporting requirements, combined with hands-on experience in ERP systems, tax engines, and digital reporting solutions. A trusted advisor to senior executives across Finance, IT, and Risk functions, you will also demonstrate thought leadership in the tax technology space, with recognised external visibility through industry forums and professional networks.
