After School Nanny

We are a friendly family based in Fulham looking for a warm, experienced, and reliable after-school nanny to care for our two young children—a fun and energetic 4½-year-old girl and a happy 1½-year-old boy.

This is a long-term position for someone who enjoys creating a nurturing, engaging, and structured environment where children can learn, play, and thrive.

Hours

Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm – 6:30 pm

Additional babysitting or school holiday hours may be available by mutual agreement.

Responsibilities

* Collect our daughter from school and our boy from nursery and care for both children during the afternoon.
*Take the children to after school clubs.
* Plan fun, age-appropriate activities including arts and crafts, outdoor play, reading, games, and imaginative play
* Support our daughter with early learning and school readiness through play and conversation.
* Prepare healthy snacks and occasionally a simple evening meal for the children.
* Keep the children’s bedrooms, toys, and play areas tidy.
* Maintain a safe, happy, and stimulating environment.
* Communicate with us about the children’s day and any important updates.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is

* Warm, caring, and genuinely passionate about working with young children.
* Experienced caring for both toddlers and school-aged children.
* Reliable, organised, and punctual.
* Calm, patient, and confident managing busy afternoon routines.
* Proactive and able to use their initiative.
* Outgoing and willing to create relationships with other nannies and parents in order to organise play dates for the children.

Essential Requirements

* Previous nanny or childcare experience with children of similar ages.
* Excellent references.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
* Current Paediatric First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one)is a plus.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Fluent English.

Desirable

* Childcare qualifications.
* Flexibility to provide occasional babysitting or additional hours during school holidays.
*Bulgarian language is a plus.
