Paediatric Social Services Occupational Therapist

JustOT are seeking a skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Social Care team in London.

Hourly rate : £35 per hour
Location: London
Hours & Days to be Worked: Full Time Ideally - Part Time Considered
Essential Requirements : HCPC registered , A minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience (paediatrics essential)

The work will primarily involve triaging new referrals, completing home safety assessments for children with challenging behaviours, as well as conducting assessments for adaptations, such as level access showers and minor equipment like seating and manual handling aids. Additionally, we are very interested in enhancing our online resources for parents, including signposting to other services that focus on positive behaviour and sensory needs.

There is also scope for the locum to contribute to designing leaflets, updating website information, and exploring community services that we can direct families to. We believe this role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on the support we provide to our community.

It is a hybrid based role; we expect staff to be able to come into the borough one-two days per week for home visits and office working; with potential for admin based tasks to be completed from home.
