An Outstanding Secondary School in Haringey requires a permanent, full-time ECT Teacher of French, starting January 2026. This is a key opportunity within an excellent Modern Foreign Languages faculty.

Responsibilities

• The ECT Teacher of MFL (French) will deliver rigorous instruction in French across Key Stages 3 and 4 (GCSE).
• The teacher is responsible for driving high attainment and promoting fluency, accurate grammar, and cultural literacy leading up to GCSE.
• They must actively engage with the school's ECT support and mentoring programme.
• The ECT Teacher of MFL (French) is expected to contribute to consistent high academic outcomes and participate proactively in departmental planning.

Requirements

• Holds or is soon to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has the right to work in the UK.
• Holds a Degree or has experience teaching French.
