General Assistant
Job Details
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic General Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day running of our catering service by assisting with food preparation, serving customers, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and customer care.
This is a varied role where you’ll work across both front-of-house and kitchen areas, helping ensure a smooth and efficient service for customers.What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting with basic food preparation in line with menu requirements.
- Serving hot and cold food and beverages during service periods.
- Ensuring counters, displays, and seating areas are clean, organised, and fully stocked before service.
- Preparing and supporting hospitality catering when required.
- Receiving, checking, storing, and rotating stock to maintain quality and freshness.
- Following all health, safety, food hygiene, and fire regulations.
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to help colleagues.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong focus on cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Previous catering or hospitality experience is helpful but not essential as training will be provided.
