As a Social Account Manager, you will be the central point of contact for our clients’ social media activities, responsible for managing the seamless execution of innovative social campaigns. You will build strong, trusted relationships and work at the heart of the agency, collaborating with all departments to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard. This role requires a proactive, highly organised individual who is passionate about the social media landscape and is keen to leverage cutting-edge AI and technology to drive outstanding results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the key day-to-day contact for clients on all things social, building strong relationships based on trust and a thorough understanding of their objectives.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of social media campaigns (organic and paid), ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a standard of excellence.
- Collaborate closely with internal strategy, creative, production, and data teams to translate client needs into clear, actionable briefs for social-first content and activations.
- Proactively identify opportunities for campaign optimisation and contribute to the development of strategic recommendations for your clients.
- Manage project budgets, scopes, and timelines, ensuring profitability and providing accurate financial forecasting and reporting to your Account Director.
- Champion the use of our intelligent operating platform, social listening tools, and AI to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and deliver innovative solutions.
- Mentor and support junior members of the client service team, such as Account Executives, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Ensure all creative output is strategically sound, platform-appropriate, and aligns perfectly with the brand’s identity and objectives.
Key Skills
- Client Management: Proven experience in building and maintaining strong client relationships as a trusted day-to-day contact on social media accounts.
- Social Campaign Management: Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple social media projects flawlessly from brief to final delivery, including content calendars, community management, and reporting.
- Platform Fluency: A strong, practical understanding of the modern social media landscape, including the features and best practices for major platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook).
- Commercial Acumen: A solid understanding of project financials, including budget management, scoping, and reporting, with a focus on project profitability.
- Integrated Collaboration: A natural team player with a proven ability to work effectively with creative, strategy, and data teams to deliver powerful, socially-led work.
- AI & Technology Enthusiasm: An enthusiasm for new marketing technologies and a practical ability to use AI and social media tools to improve efficiency and results.
- Clear Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting ideas clearly and keeping clients and internal teams aligned.
- Problem-Solving: A proactive and solution-focused mindset, with the ability to anticipate challenges and navigate them effectively.
