The Role
As a Year 1 Teacher , you will play a key role in shaping pupils’ early primary experiences, delivering a rich and engaging curriculum, and supporting each child to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to drive development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support children’s learning and well-being.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through assemblies, events, and enrichment activities.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a teacher who:
- Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
- Has experience teaching Key Stage 1 , preferably Year 1.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Is committed to fostering pupils’ academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Works effectively as part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team.
