Music Teacher – Drive Advanced A-Level Theory and Utilize Music Technology in a Creative Faculty – Tower Hamlets
A large, high-achieving secondary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Music Teacher with expertise in A-Level theory and music technology from January 2026.
- Music Teacher required from January 2026
- Tower Hamlets-based school with an outstanding track record in performing arts.
- Ideal for a teacher with expertise in advanced harmony, composition, and music production software (e.g., Logic/Pro Tools) .
You will teach Music across KS3-KS5, with a significant timetable allocation to A-Level. The role includes raising the quality of instruction in theory and composition, running high-quality ensembles, and managing the music technology suite.
Experience and Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) and a relevant degree in Music.
- Proven success in achieving high grades at A-Level Music (Theory and Performance).
- Ability to direct and lead musical ensembles (orchestra, choir, or band).
- Strong technical skills in music software and recording equipment.
