ABOUT:

GAIN is a creative-led, insight-driven company that blends data, tech and creativity. We believe the best ideas emerge where intelligence and creativity unite, where insight sparks imagination, and where innovation turns possibility into progress.

We are explorers of new frontiers, shaping bold strategies that move people, brands, and businesses forward. Individually and together, our specialist teams provide the vision, data, and confidence brands and organisations need to make braver, more impactful decisions.

Today as GAIN, we work as a united force, using data to fuel creativity, and technology to unlock new possibilities. As imagineers we don’t just embrace innovation – we engineer it, transforming information into action, and ideas into breakthroughs.

This is where rebel thinking, smart technology, and data-driven creativity shape the future. Through our five specialist teams: Creative Studio, Conversion, Customer Science, Experience and Performance. Individually, and together, we work to fuel your growth and deliver measurable impact.

THE ROLE

As a Creative Strategist at GAIN, you won’t just be supporting clients, you will be the engine room of their growth. You will sit at the vital intersection of data and imagination, bridging the gap between brand storytelling and hard performance metrics.

We need a "scientific creative" who can deep-dive into UK consumer behaviour to uncover psychological pain points, and then translate those insights into scroll-stopping copy and scripts. You will own the end-to-end strategy for paid social, building structured testing programs that prove creative is the biggest lever for success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the end-to-end creative roadmap for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Deep-dive into UK customer behavior to uncover the "why" behind the buy. Identify specific pain points, motivations, and purchasing barriers to create strategies grounded in real customer truth.
  • Act as the connective tissue between branding and performance, ensuring high-production aesthetics never come at the expense of conversion.
  • Write strategic, persuasive scripts and ad copy. You must be able to craft hooks that capture attention and narratives that drive measurable action.
  • Identify cultural trends and storytelling angles that keep our clients ahead of the curve.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable, and inspiring briefs for designers, editors, and UGC creators.
  • Partner with Growth and Performance teams to align creative testing with key metrics
  • Present your creative decisions confidently to internal leads and senior client stakeholders.

Requirements

  • You aren't just a strategist; you are a writer who understands the nuances of persuasive, digital-first language.
  • Proven ability to analyze pain points, motivations, and blockers to inform creative.
  • You are an active observer of internet culture and emerging media trends.
  • You are fluent in Meta/TikTok Ads Manager and the "alphabet soup" of metrics,
  • Demonstrated experience balancing brand integrity with performance goals.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in UGC/Creator-led strategy.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and testing optimization platforms.
  • Experience with full-funnel creative (integrating paid and organic social).

How we work:

Constant curiosity: we're curious, critical, creative thinkers who get a kick out of finding new ways to look at the world. So, we constantly seek out data, insight, intelligence and inspiration that fuels our thinking.

Pushing boundaries: we don't wait for innovation; we share a relentless drive to engineer it. Merging data, technology and creativity to craft bold strategies that drive real impact.

The power of our imagination: creativity guides everything we do. We're not afraid to think big and push our clients out of their creative comfort zone.

Making it happen: we create, we experiment, we go again. Giving each other the freedom to fail. Collectively pursuing ideas that have the power to change the world.

Putting people first: We never lose sight of humanity, care, and impact. We do what's right not what's easy. For our people, our clients and the planet.
