Academic Programmes & Events Officer

Join QRT Academy as an Academic Programmes & Events Officer in London. QRT Academy brings together QRT’s training and development initiatives, academic engagement, and research collaborations, connecting external research communities and talent with QRT and supporting their integration. In this role, you will support the delivery of QRT Academy's programmes, events, and academic engagement initiatives, ensuring the smooth execution of workshops, seminars, competitions, and other Academy activities.
Your future role at QRT:
- Coordinate the delivery of QRT Academy programmes, events, and academic engagement activities, including workshops, seminars, competitions, and conferences
- Manage event logistics, communications, and supporting materials to ensure successful delivery
- Maintain programme plans, feedback and metrics, documentation, timelines, and operational reporting across Academy activities
- Act as a key operational contact for universities, academic partners, programme participants and internal stakeholders
- Work closely with colleagues across the business to support the successful delivery of Academy programmes and events
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes supporting QRT Academy's global activities
Your present skillset:
- Degree-level qualification, ideally in Business, Events Management, Education, Communications, Science, or a related field
- Excellent organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to delivering high-quality work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging a broad range of stakeholders
- Collaborative approach, with the ability to build effective working relationships across teams
- Ability to operate effectively in evolving or ambiguous environments
- Interest in research, technology, higher education, or academic engagement
