Career Teachers is seeking a compassionate and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with diverse needs and abilities in achieving their full potential within a specialist school in Hayes .
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Hayes
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored educational programs.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with diverse needs.
- Help manage challenging behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Support students’ social and emotional development.
- Participate in school activities and contribute to a supportive school community.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
- Experience in a similar role or working with children is preferred.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
