Mandarin-speaking Afternoon Nanny, Job ID J1E172
A Mandarin or Cantonese-speaking After-school Nanny is needed by this busy family to help them look after their baby, one toddler and two school-aged children. The family seeks a reliable, energetic, and enthusiastic nanny who can carry out all childcare duties. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with young children, can provide engaging after-school care, and is confident in supporting early homework routines. Someone who speaks Mandarin, Cantonese and English to a native level is a must for this role.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: 2:30pm - 8pm Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday (preferred)
Duties include:
- Safely pick up children from school
- Assist with homework, reading, and studying
- Help the youngest child with early learning activities, including writing, basic phonics, and reading
- Engage the children in stimulating indoor and outdoor activities
- Drive or walk the children to extracurricular activities as needed.
- Support with evening and bedtime routines
- Tidy bedrooms (make beds, put away toys/clothes)
- Tidy playroom (organise toys, books, crafts)
- Clean children's bathroom (sink, toilet, tub, floor)
- Laundry - (Wash, Dry & Fold clothes)
- Pack school bags (books, lunch, water bottles, etc.)
- Check homework and notes
- Lay out uniforms or clothes for the next day
- Preparing fresh, homemade meals for young children and a genuine passion for healthy eating
