Tax Senior, Assistant Tax Manager Or Manager - Warrington, London Or UK Remote

Our client is a company which provides global corporate services to businesses that are trading overseas. One element of what they do is to provide tax advice to internationally expanding corporates. Their advice covers both corporate and personal taxes. This business works closely with advisors in other overseas jurisdictions to provide a ‘joined up’ worldwide service of tax and accounting and business advice. They seek a CTA qualified UK tax professional for a really interesting and varied tax role which blends the best elements of practice with the feel of working in-house. Day to day your role will involve:
• Reporting to a director.
• Work in partnership with overseas tax services providers to ensure accuracy, deadlines are met and the quality of work delivered.
• Be the UK expert on UK tax matters ranging from corporate tax to personal taxes.
• Work closely with colleagues in payroll, company secretarial, accounting and legal.
• Lead resolution of HMRC enquires or overseas audits where required, working with in-country specialists.
• Provide direct tax advice to clients on areas such as corporate structuring, permanent establishment risk, employment tax and transfer pricing.
• Ideally gain experience of cross-border VAT.
• Train Global Account Managers to identify tax opportunities and refer leads effectively.
• Spot potential for tax work in the existing client base.
• Work with the marketing team to develop tax-led campaigns webinars and video content.
This role would suit a CTA qualified who is looking for a role with potential to get promotion, who has a background in corporate or mixed tax and who is happy to broaden out their technical experience. You will need to be a self-starter who enjoys variety and who likes building long term client relationships.
This role can be worked on a hybrid basis (ideally 2 days in the office) – remote working with some travel considered for a more experienced hire.
