Music (ECT Support) - Haringey Outstanding School
We are working with a world-class, "Outstanding" secondary school in Haringey recruiting for a talented Music ECT. The school features a professional recording studio and a suite of Mac labs, viewing musical excellence as a fundamental right for every student regardless of their starting point.

The department is known for its "open-door" policy, where staff often jam together or collaborate on cross-curricular projects with the Drama and Art departments.
The Role & Responsibilities Working within a specialist faculty, you will deliver the vital lessons and ensembles that define our school's cultural calendar.
Classroom Delivery: Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4, including the use of Sibelius and Logic Pro for composition and film scoring.
Ensemble Leadership: Coordinating and leading school choirs, orchestras, or contemporary bands to enhance the school's public profile.
Curriculum Design: Helping to create diverse, inclusive schemes of work that reflect the vibrant musical heritage of the Haringey community.
Performance Assessment: Preparing students for practical examinations, GCSE recitals, and annual showcases at local professional venues.
Requirements
Degree: A degree in Music, Performance, or Composition.
QTS: Evidence of successful completion of teacher training.
Right to Work: Must possess the legal right to work in the UK.
Salary & Contract Details
Salary Range: £40,317 – £62,496 (M1 – UPS3 Inner London Scale)
Hours: Full-time | Permanent | ASAP Start
