Strategic Sourcing Lead - Renewable Energy
London (Hybrid 1–2 days/week) + bi-weekly travel to North Wales
Up to £62,000 + 5% bonus + strong benefits
The role:
You’ll lead end-to-end sourcing activity, building sourcing strategies, running tenders, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier performance. Day to day, you’ll partner closely with engineering and operational stakeholders, manage a pipeline of procurement projects, and drive value across categories such as equipment, engineering services, consultancy, MRO, and civil works.
You’ll also be responsible for identifying cost-saving and efficiency opportunities, ensuring compliance with HSE and ESG standards, supporting junior team members, and contributing to procurement reporting, analytics, and digital improvements (e.g. S2C tools, Power BI dashboards).
Key requirements:
- 5-7+ years’ strategic procurement experience (Capex & indirects)
- Strong stakeholder and supplier management skills
- Experience in engineering, infrastructure, or energy-related environments
- Knowledge of procurement systems (SAP/Ariba desirable)

- Up to £62k salary + 5% bonus
